Meet The Captain
Captain Dante Pullano
Born and raised in Jupiter, Florida, Captain Dante Pullano grew up with saltwater in his veins and a fishing rod in his hands. From casting lines off the docks as a kid to chasing big game fish across the East Coast, the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, Costa Rica, and Florida’s inshore waters, Dante's life has always revolved around the water.
His passion and skill have led him to success on the competitive fishing scene. In 2022, he took first place in four categories at the Fat Cat Big Dog Tournament. He also placed 2nd and 3rd for dolphin in the 2019 Ocean City Labor Day Tournament and has competed in the prestigious White Marlin Open. A standout achievement came in 2024, when he claimed first place and the overall series championship in the three-leg FishBlueWater Pompano Beach Saltwater Circuit.
Dante’s dedication to the sport goes beyond tournaments. He has volunteered with NOAA, tagging sharks to support marine research and conservation efforts. As a licensed boat captain and seasoned angler, he’s passionate about sharing his knowledge and love for fishing—whether guiding first-timers to their first catch or swapping stories with seasoned pros.
When it comes to personal favorites, swordfish is his ultimate catch—challenging, powerful, and deeply rewarding. And after a long day on the water, wahoo tops his list as the best fish to eat, thanks to its speed on the line and unbeatable flavor on the plate.
When he's not on the water, Dante enjoys spending time in the woods on hunting adventures with friends and family. But no matter where he is, the ocean always calls him back. For Captain Dante Pullano, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping others experience the thrill of the catch and the peace of a day spent offshore.
